The challenges faced by people in South Asia, particularly those living in the Himalayas, are immense, compounded by the harsh realities of natural disasters like earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, and glacial floods. Among the most vulnerable are women and children, who often suffer disproportionately in the aftermath of such events.
The devastation caused by these disasters can result in the loss of homes, livelihoods, and, tragically, the loss of loved ones, leaving many children orphaned and homeless. They become easy targets for exploitation by human traffickers, further exacerbating their plight.
Efforts to address these interconnected issues require a multi-faceted approach, including providing immediate relief and support to affected communities, implementing measures to prevent trafficking, and offering long-term solutions such as education, vocational training, and economic empowerment.

Our Approach
Anti-Human Trafficking Border Monitoring Stations: By strategically placing trained individuals at border transit points, we're able to intercept trafficking in real-time, preventing victims from being exploited.
Reunification and Safe Houses: Victims intercepted at the borders are reunited with their families whenever possible. For those without families or in unsafe environments, safe houses provide shelter, support, and access to education.
Rescue, Repatriate, and Restore: Victims of trafficking are rescued from exploitative situations, repatriated to safe environments, and provided with the necessary resources and support to begin the healing process.
Prosecution of Traffickers: Holding traffickers accountable through legal prosecution helps deter future exploitation and ensures justice for victims.
Care for Vulnerable Populations: Prioritizing the care of vulnerable groups such as orphaned, abandoned, and impoverished children ensures they receive the support and resources needed to thrive.
Empowerment Through Training and Job Creation: By empowering women with soft skills training and creating job opportunities, you're addressing the root causes of poverty and helping individuals break free from cycles of exploitation.
